Resetting your Family Access Password
Using the Forgot your Username or Password? link on the Skyward Qmlativ SIS sign-in screen empowers LISD guardians to reset their own Family Access password.
On the next screen, enter your Family Access username or the email address associated with your account. Then, click Submit to request that a password reset email be sent to the email on file.
The reset link provided in the email is valid for 24 hours. If it has been longer than 24 hours, or if you previously accessed the link and attempt to use the link again, you will receive an error message advising why the link is no longer valid and prompting you to either log in on the sign-in screen or select the option to Resend Email.

Email Reset
LISD guardians can reset the email address for Family Access in Skyward Qmlativ SIS by visiting https://usercheck.lisd.net in Google Chrome and clicking Begin.
Step One: Identify Yourself
Provide the following information to tell the system who is requesting the email reset, and click Submit.
- Guardian's First Name Listed in Skyward: your legal first name
- Guardian's Last Name Listed in Skyward: your last name
- Student's First Name Listed in Skyward: your student's legal first name
- Student's Last Name Listed in Skyward: your student's last name
- Student's Date of Birth: your student's birthday
If you have multiple students enrolled in LISD, choose one student to complete the last three fields for.
Step Two: Verify your Identity
Choose four of the following seven questions to verify your identity with, and click Submit.
- Choose student campus: the name of the school your student is currently enrolled at
- Choose student grade: the grade level your student is currently in
- Student's ID: the student's LISD identification number
- Guardian's Phone Number: the phone number associated with your Family Access account
- Student's Username: the student's LISD-issued username
- Student's Email: the student's LISD-issued email address
- Home Street Address Name: the name of the street you live on
If you have multiple students enrolled in LISD, choose one student to complete the related fields for.
Step Three: Enter your Email Address
Type the email address you would like associated with your Family Access account, and click Submit.
After successfully completing the email reset process, you can use the Forgot your Username or Password? link on the Skyward Qmlativ SIS sign-in screen and enter the same email address. You should receive a password reset email to that email address.
If neither of the above password reset options work, for security reasons, please visit your student's campus in person to regain access to your Family Access account.
