This article details the steps needed to setup a secure password for Skyward Family Access, used by parents or guardians of LISD students.
Skyward Family Access - Password Security [Submission]
Beginning Friday, April 14, 2023, the Skyward vendor will require all Skyward Family Access passwords to meet the new criteria. (NOTE: This applies only to parent or guardian access passwords, not student or staff)
Insecure Password Prompt
If you are prompted with an Insecure Password message, please follow these steps for creating a qualifying secure password:
Step 1 - Note the minimum requirements in the screenshot below.
Step 2 - Enter the same new password twice for confirmation.
Step 3 - Save/Update your new password in a safe location, such as a password keeper.
