Viewing Student Course Information

How LISD Guardians and Students can View Course Grades and Details in Skyward Qmlativ SIS

The Grading tile is readily available in the Family Access and Student Access portals of Skyward Qmlativ SIS. This article provides directions for how LISD guardians and students can use the Grading tile to view course information and grades.

Please refer to the information in the appropriate tab below based on which portal you have access to, Family Access or Student Access.

Quick Steps

In Family Access, click the Grading tile.
Select the Grades tab.
Select a class to view more details.
Click Close.

Detailed Instructionss

The following steps will be completed in Skyward Qmlativ SIS. If you have access to more than one portal, you may need to click the down arrow next to the home icon and select Family Access from the drop-down menu.

You see the Family Access tile screen, where you can view tiles for all of your children.

Click the Grading tile.
- You can select a tile under a specific child’s name or under the View All Students heading. If you wish to select a different student’s information, you can do so by selecting that student’s name at the top left of the screen.
- You see the Student Grades screen, where you can select the appropriate Grades Filter (Grades Tab) button near the top of the screen to display Current Classes or All Year classes.
  - The Current Classes option displays the classes the student is taking that meet during the current term.
  - The All Year option displays all classes for the year, regardless of when they are being viewed.
  - For example, if your child has Math class during first period in semester 1 and English class during first period in semester 2, you would only see Math if you select Current Classes, but you would see both Math and English if you select All Year.
Select the Grades tab.
- Your child's classes are ordered by class period and days of the week. The columns display Missing Assignments and grading periods.
- If any courses are not displayed, click the More button to expand the list.
Select the class you wish to view additional details for.
- A pop-up window will appear with the course name and course information, such as the Primary Teacher, Section, Period, Scheduled Dates, Days, and Curriculum.
Click Close near the bottom right of the window when you are finished viewing grade information.
- You return to the Student Grades screen.
